ADR England: 2026-2031 investment
The next five-year phase of ADR England will build on the strong foundations established since 2021, strengthening the role of administrative data research in addressing some of the most important challenges facing society in England, across the UK and internationally.

ADR Northern Ireland: 2026-2031 investment
The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) has an ambitious data acquisition plan for the remainder of the funding period.

ADR Scotland: 2026-2031 investment
ADR Scotland’s ambition for 2026–2031 is to facilitate improvements to our trusted data research infrastructure and strengthen links between research, policy and public services to enable timely academic insights that support decisions that can improve outcomes for the people of Scotland.

Looking to the longer term future, ADR Wales has bold ambitions for the next five years. This period will be about far more than maintaining our existing strengths; it will be about driving innovation, embracing emerging opportunities and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of administrative data research.

Office for National Statistics: 2026-2031 investment
As we move further into the new ADR UK funding period, the Office for National Statistics (ONS)’s focus will be on strengthening the Secure Research Service (SRS) as a key part of the UK's research infrastructure, supporting safe and secure access to administrative data at scale. Building on strong foundations, we will continue to improve the researcher experience, expand access to high-value data and support research that informs policy and delivers public benefit.
