ADR Wales is pleased to be hosting the next ADR UK Conference in the autumn of 2025. The team looks forward to welcoming colleagues from across the UK and further afield to Cardiff. The scientific programme, due to be announced in late 2024, promises to be robust and expansive. The event will offer opportunities for involvement to people at all career stages.

ADR Wales looks forward to the further opportunities for insightful research that will become available in the coming months, thanks to the acquisition and imminent deposit of several new key datasets into the SAIL Databank. These include significant updates to the schools and tertiary education data held within SAIL, and new additions such as nursing and midwifery data and income information.

Together, these updates and additions will greatly enhance ADR Wales’ research capabilities, enabling the team to generate more insightful findings. The benefits of these new and expanded datasets will extend beyond the immediate team, providing valuable resources for the wider research community.

The ADR Wales team is proud of their work supporting data providers, data holders and research teams who are keen to safely explore and share data. ADR Wales is committed to continuing in this supportive role, further developing relationships and pathways to increase data reuse.
